The Men of Honor and Ladies of Honor, a Rowlett-based character education program, is issuing this statement to clarify that our organization has no affiliation whatsoever with the Men of Honor group at Virginia State University, or with any of the individuals involved, or with anything so unspeakably cruel as hazing.

American Honor Academy

We are excited to announce that we have filed an application with the State of Texas to establish our own Charter School in Rowlett, Texas.

Camps

Life changing weekend camps engaging youth in strategic activities geared toward self reflection, leadership development, and the condition of the heart.  Students experience rites of passage such as the “Walk of Manhood” (for young men) and the “Walk of Womanhood” (for young women). Each will face their fears on high ropes courses, river canoeing and other challenges.

 

 

Conferences

Meetings and community outreaches in which youth are also challenged and inspired to pursue excellence of character and join the Men of Honor and Ladies of Honor programs.

 

 

Curriculum

Weekly mentoring and training meetings centered around character-specific topics such as honesty, integrity, chivalry, leadership, and other attributes of   a world-changer.  These groups meet every week in schools, churches, and recreation centers.
